In this half-hour discovery flight, you will get a feel for what it is like to fly in a helicopter and even get to take the controls! Discovery flights start at $200 for a half hour, with longer time slots available for additional charge.

Let's start your training! Here is a brief breakdown of what it will take to get your Private Pilot Rating.

Hour Requirements: 

• MINIMUM 40 hours flight training
  • 30 hours with an instructor
  • 10 hours solo
• Approximately 20 hours ground instruction
• FAA Written Test
• FAA Medical Certificate
• Pilot Examiner Fee and Checkride

Students average 50-60 hours for their private pilot rating. For add-on ratings, hour requirements vary from the above stated.
